CHILDHOOD & KINDERGARDEN- ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

2001 – 2014

La vida es muy simple, pero nos empeñamos en hacerla difícil- Confucio.

I was born the 13th of October in 2001 in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. I was a fast learner, my parents used to tell me that I At an early age I started to like the reading. As long as I can remember mi parents introduced me with one of those books full of images and a “magic pen” that made the book tell you fun facts of the actual story. Since then I started to like more and more the books and developed me little by little in the ambit. I also remembered that on my earlier years and basically all my elementary my parents had to work almost all day and neither I was with one of my grandparents at their home nor I was at a clinic doing homework at the doctor’s waitroom or mi father leaved me with the secretaries that where the closest of his work area. I also remembered that I had some sort of fascination for the old fashioned typewriter. I did liked the mechanism of the letters filled with ink so they hit the paper when a button was pressed, I nostalgically remember all the time that I spent writing nonsense or some words at the typewriter at the secretary’s desk while my father was working. I did consider my grandparents as my seconds tutors due to all the time I spend under their charge. I remembered that I loved to play in my Gameboy, Nintendo ds, and PS2 when they went out. I did also love movies and cartoons that were happening at the time such as: Timmy Turner, Jimmy Neutron, Foster Mansion, etc. I did had one of those TVs that had an cassette compartment, watching at the time toy story, Fantasy 2000, and of course to Position the antenna so the public cable signal was able to watch. I even watched the lasts on my way to school, home, etc. with a little portable DVD player at the car. I also liked from very little the legos and the mechanisms that most of things had. Which leaded me to be kind of curious towards the mechanisms and engineerings, despite I didn’t liked at all the mathematics.

What would I wanna be when I grow up? *As a child*

3rd Kindergarden, no date

When I was an infant, I had neither the worry nor the idea of what I wanted to dedicate myself to: Any profession that existed took it as an equal and with the same probability of acquiring. But as a second option I remember that I was excited to be "Youtuber" (since it was fashion and left enough profits if you succeeded) that was my second option and could be considered as the most beloved option but at the same time doubtful. And as a third option I wanted to be a firefighter to save lives at risk, but I wasn't so convinced but my interest existed.

I was an excellence Student in elementary school. My first kindergarden school was by the guadalajara’s occidental medical center, due to it was the best and closest option to my parents work place. I don’t have much memories about that school, because the educational & english level were insuficient. I even remember that the most satisfactory part of that kinder was the sleep time. After a good search made by my parents I was sent to a bilingual institution, I did started over again and remaked 1rst of kinder , since then I’ve being studing in bilingual clases by the Martin Luther King Jr. institute. After I graduated from the kinder, my parents and I decided to make my elementary on another instalation by the same institute. I remember that my favorite subject at the MLKJr. was science and my worst nightmare at that times was the mathematics (which it still is). I practiced during elementary extracurriculars, for example: chess, aikido (martial art) and tenis. I had a bunch of good spanish & english teachers that showed me the way to behave and read/write properly. One teacher of those was Mr. Antonio that didn’t hesitate in any moment and always leaded me in such way that i’m still greatfull whith him, because he did teached me vital life lessons. I made many friends at that school terms, which even nowadays I’m still being good friends with. Something that my parents always told me is that as I was growing up I did started to optimize my time, making homework on the car or my home tasks as sooner as possible so I had the rest of the day for me to play or spent time in TV/videogame console. I remember my childhood as a particular one and I love everything that has past.

SHOCKING FACT: At the very end of my international experience in Paris, I and some friends had the bad luck to presence a terrorist attempt. We precensed a shooting and a failed explosion by the Arc de Triomphe “apparently” from ISIS (the French elections were the day after). We did went to the Paris Comissary to testify (I’ve got photos there as well).

HIGHSCHOOL

2014 – 2017

After over analyzing it, I decided to continue my highschool term as well at the Martin Luther King Jr. Due to the great teachers that were teaching at the time and the educational level that was basically pretty good. During this educatinal period it was actually fun and learn. Despite the instalations that were ridiculously diminute, the lessons and inside classmates/teachers mood was awsome. Some friends continued studiying at the MLK, but may other rathered another. In that highschool we went to many historical places and fun places too. I remember about a debate were we went to a library to get arguments and cite books for those. During this period I consider I’ve had met the best teacher of all times, Mr. Maldonado that gave me lots of meaningfull lessons, great memories, etc. me & my highschool group were very united with the professor Maldonado. Another factor about my group was that it was integrated by 16 persons (counting me), which permitted a better comunication, comprehension, unification. My favorite subject during highschool was History & Math was my nightmare (I know what you think). I consider this as one of my best parts of my life. I even had the oportunity to travel and compete for Mexico in the UK, London and cetificate my english. We won puzzle solving, and oratory. I met also many south americans and international friends. After that we did also had the oportunity to visit Paris, France.

My life in TEC

2017 – present

I loved my stay at the Tec, meeting new classmates during this 6 semesters was very rewarding, because they are one of those who are very friendly people who do not exclude anyone for any reason and who are always there for you. I also got to know the gigantic and beautiful facilities of the entire campus Guadalajara. But spite of everything, what I liked the most is everything that this institution and all classes offer you. Although in some subjects it take more effort from me to get good grades I love the curriculars and the lessons that the institution uses to teach and the independize you in a student role just entering your highschool period. I get along with all my classmates most of the time (except sometimes while doing work group), and I get along as well with everyone. There are few classmates which I get along with and I consider them to be my best friends.

WHAT WOULD BE MY MISSION IN LIFE?
My mission in life would be to develop as a person, find someone and make a family so I can be able to support and live with them and fullfill all their needs. Another mission is to be the best in what I'm going to do, all the options in mind involve helping the society, so I would like to help people immensely. From maintaining their health by dealing with them, or create a machine or some device with a team that will revolutionize the world of medicine. Even help people technologically with greater facilities. Also spend time with loved ones and never disappoint my principles would be a goal to achieve.

WHAT WOULD I WANNA BE WHEN I GROW UP?
Nowadays, due to my father's profession, I began to be interested in the medical area to help people studiying medicine. Since I was 15 I started to with my father in order to work as his procedure assistant in my spare time, my father is a gastroenterologist. At this moment, studying medicine is what would I like the most and I would be passionate about doing it (despite the amount of studies), I am convinced. My plan is to finish and specialize in 1 or 2 areas.

And if in any case this can't be possible in some way I would like to study Biomedicine, since I would continue studying some medicine and do another thing that I love, this would be robotics, mechanics electronics, and bit of programming out there. This option is also welcome due to the boom of my tastes, and my passion to design and build.

SPORT ACTIVITIES

During all my 5 semesters I did practice a lot of sports. Some examples would be that at the 1st semester I practiced Cardiokickboxing as an extracurricular, then in 2nd & 3rd semester I practiced beach volleyball for fun and I even get to be playing with the beach volley masters, and at 4th semester I did some Tenis with the intermediate class as an extracurricular. During my 5th and 6th Semester I’m taking this a bit slowly going to the GYM sometimes, due to the robotics proyect that still takes time from me. This diciplines forged my consistence, psychomotor skills, organization, etc.

LEADERSHIP & COMMUNITY SERVICE

The 3 leadership events I went to were events organized by the university. Where the federal electricity commission (CFE) paid the Student Committee (CDA) to handle the events on the Comprehensive Security Fair (FIS). This fair was dedicated to promoting safety in the community of electricians in our region through dynamics and activities that are aimed at workers, their partners, children and family members. My participation was as CAP, in which I was commissioned by a group with a minimum of 20 people, in order to guide them through a rally and maintain the spirit of security and awareness. I had the opportunity to participate in the FIS of Guadalajara, FIS de Tepic and FIS Puerto Vallarta. In terms of community service I was in the 1st, 3rd, 5th,6th semesters brigades, to help low-income schools such as: Juan Rulfo school, the Conchello school & marginalized colonies. Also participate in an event for underprivileged children at the Tec called EUREKA. And finally I participated in one of the Crececamps, a camp dedicated to children and young people with disabilities for a week of vacation in June 2018, I played and took care of a child with down syndrome called Angel.

CULTURAL ACTIVITIES

I had 3 Fiestas de Humanidades. During the First one my group and I did an Altar about a iconic mexican. During the second Fiesta I made along with a team a mural. We did a deep research in order to define the culture that we were going to represent. We chose a tiger tradition La tigrada in Guerrero and basically illustrated it with its context to the canvas. And in my last Fiesta we made a food stand, where we selled tacos representing an specific mexican state. I also remember the trip I did to Mexico city, to learn more about the mexico’s center and its culture. This things developed my creativity, sensibility, comprehension, etc.

OPTATIVE PROJECTS

I competed in the Monterrey FIRST Robotics Competition regional for March 2019 with the Daedalus 7102 team, helping in the field of mechanics and programming where we were in 3rd place for the pass to the international competition in TX. The other competition in which I was able to represent my campus was with the FRS team in 3rd semester, in which I was the team mechanic. We managed to get a very good score in the regional World Educational Robotics (WER) Competition Guadalajara held in mid-November 2018. Subsequently, it was in top 20% of the WER Santa Fe national competition in CDMX held in September 2018. Currently in 5th I continue to support the Daedalus 7102 team, now also supporting the electronics field, waiting for the next season to win first place and the pass for FIRST Robotics International Competition 2020 in San Diego.

STUDENT COUNCIL ACTIVITIES

I did was an active individual in the student groups, such as being a collaborator and participate with the Carneros at DÍA UNO and INTEGRATION DAY). I also participated in the SOS asisting to a First aid course. I helped Future Prep. with the Chill day and Help U with your future Uni. And finally I did participated with MOSAIC in a kermas about the mexican revolution. This activities gave me work & group work experience, critical thinking, problem solving, etc,

FUTURE CAREER

Atfer what I explained before on my autobiography my likely option & the best for me is to study medicine. So after that I can specialize me in an area, and who knows even get an especialization in engineerings.

INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCES

I was able to traveled to Berlin, Germany for a month during my vacations after the 2nd Semester. I did practice my third language, and made some Deutsch friends besides to dig in more into their culture and be discovering all Berlin along with some friends. I did also had a proyect during that trip, which consisted into talk directly with tree natives from Germany and ask them about things that tourists or habitants could do to have fun in Berlin. My partner Arath and I succeeded in this proyect getting a 94 on it. Fortunately this trip teached me independence, resposability, comprehension, etc.
